<p>So here&#8217;s a trick to make Safari behave like Firefox. Open Terminal, (/Applications/Utilities/) or use spotlight and type in terminal and copy paste the following command:</p>
<p>defaults write com.apple.Safari TargetedClicksCreateTabs -bool true</p>
<p>then Enter</p>
<p>You then have to restart Safari for it to work. All clicked links will now open in a new tab. If you want to revert to the default behavior of Safari just repeat the steps but replace &#8220;true&#8221; with &#8220;false.&#8221;</p>
