HBO, the leading premium cable channel, is reportedly about to close an agreement with Apple to sell some of its shows on the popular iTunes store.

Full seasons of shows like “The Sopranos”, “Sex and the City”, “The Wire” will be gradually added to the iTunes service. The shows will be made ready for download as soon as they will be released on DVD and that HBO may announce the deal as early as Tuesday.
