Microsoft releases Windows Vista Service Pack 1
Windows Vista April 25th. 2008, 8:47pmMicrosoft just released the first major update for the Windows Vista operating system and Vista users can get it via the Microsoft Automatic Update service.

Windows Vista Service Pack 1, as the update is called, has been released in English, French, German, Spanish, and Japanese versions, according to Microsoft. It will download automatically to PCs that have the automatic update feature of the OS turned on. Other users will have to wait, however as the company is distributing it in small batches so it may not be available as an automatic update for some for several weeks. This according to company is to “ensure a seamless download experience.” SP1 includes a number of important performance and security enhancements.
