Microsoft working on Vista successor, Windows 7
Windows 7 May 28th. 2008, 8:53amChris Flores, director with the Windows Client communications team through the Windows Vista team blog confirmed that Microsoft is working on the next major version of Windows, which will be called Windows 7.
“We are well into the development process of Windows 7, and we’re happy to report that we’re still on track to ship approximately three years after the general availability of Windows Vista,” Flores said in the blog post. According to reports, Windows 7 isn’t due until the beginning of 2010.
